MakeMeSane is an independent publication. This policy explains how we maintain editorial integrity across all comparisons, guides, and reviews.

Independence from Commercial Relationships

Affiliate commission rates, partnership status, and advertising revenue do not influence editorial decisions. Products are included, excluded, ranked, and scored based solely on their merits as evaluated through ourdocumented methodology.

Our founder may oversee both editorial work and commercial relationships. Commission rates are excluded from product evaluation criteria and must not be used to select products, rank them, or determine recommendations.

Editorial Responsibility

Piyush, Founder & Editor, leads the publication's editorial direction and is responsible for source review, recommendations, and corrections. Author and editor credits identify their respective roles. An editor credit does not indicate completed review; each article's review status identifies its stage in the publication process.

Evidence Standards

Every factual claim in our content must be traceable to a source. We use evidence labels to distinguish verified product data from company claims, calculated values, and user reports. Manufacturer claims are always presented as claims — never as independently verified facts.

Corrections and Updates

When errors are identified, we correct them promptly and transparently. Material corrections are noted in the article with the correction date. See ourcorrections policy for details.

Conflicts of Interest

Contributors must disclose any financial relationships, employment, consulting arrangements, or material interests in companies whose products we cover. Disclosed conflicts do not automatically disqualify a contributor but are managed through editorial oversight.
